Who we are

Our story dates back to 1997 when a trio of Management and Human Resources executives decided to join forces and form what today is known as Baker Tilly Vantagen. For over 20 years, Baker Tilly Vantagen has been providing high touch, flexible, and customized solutions in the HR Consulting and Benefits Administration space. We serve organizations of all sizes that run the full gamut of business and industry – healthcare, higher education, retail, manufacturing and public sector just to name a few. Today, we are a proud, independent member of Baker Tilly US, LLP, one of the most recognizable names in professional services. Our leadership team

Kimberly Wylam, SPHR

President, Managing Partner



Over the past 27 years, Kim has developed a comprehensive background within all areas of human resources. Kim is the founding partner of Vantagen, now Baker Tilly Vantagen. As president of Baker Tilly Vantagen, she has created the overall vision, which is focused on bringing human resource strategies in a customized fashion to our clients. Baker Tilly Vantagen specializes in delivering solutions that are focused in both technology and optimal client service. Kim is experienced in all aspects of human resources and specializes in compliance, HR Strategy and development, employee benefits, and compensation. In her role as president, Kim oversees all major client development initiatives and operations. Kim is also responsible for Baker Tilly Vantagen’s thought leadership, having published articles in PA Business Journal, HR Executive Magazine, Weight Watchers Magazine and numerous other periodicals on a variety of Human Resources topics and trends. Kim is also a frequent speaker within the HFMA group and content provider on HR issues related to healthcare.

Eric Pochas, CHRS

Director of Client Services



Eric has worked in employee benefits and health care operations for over 20 years. He has been part of the Baker Tilly Vantagen team since 2000. As a member of Baker Tilly Vantagen’s senior leadership team, he maintains oversight responsibility for the benefits administration services provided to national employer clientele.

Donald P. Duffy

Implementation Manager/Senior HR Consultant



Don draws on over 20 years of project management and insurance industry experience and has been part of the Baker Tilly Vantagen team for over 13 years. Don and his team are responsible for the end-to-end integration of all new client relationships within Baker Tilly Vantagen. Don brings wide spread project management and leadership experience to each client relationship.

Dave Colacito

Director of Technology Services



David has been part of the Baker Tilly Vantagen team since 1997. David specializes in EDI (HIPAA 834 and Proprietary) Files and Compensation/Total Rewards Statement. David and his team generate and transfer as many as 500 eligibility and deduction files on a weekly basis.

Deanna Kempinski

Senior Human Resources Consultant



Deanna has spent more than 20 years working in the field of Human Resources. While her experience is wide-ranging and varied within the discipline, she specializes in the areas of compensation, employee relations, manager coaching, and employment law compliance. A proven compensation expert, she has performed numerous compensation analyses and market studies for many clients representing a variety of industries, including healthcare and senior living, higher education, construction and manufacturing and professional services.

Nicole Olszyk

Manager, Participant Services



Nicole has been part of the Baker Tilly Vantagen team since 2008. Nicole has a wide range of experience, but, she specializes in account based services (FSA, HRA, HSA), COBRA continuation Coverage and Employee Billing; and service team management. Nicole’s experience and desire to engage with the client on their needs as well as advise on the extensive flexibility of the Baker Tilly Vantagen platform, result in a meaningful alignment of client needs and service delivery.

Gina Pitoniak

Manager, Billing Services



Gina has developed a comprehensive background within the Employee Benefits Administration arena with a specific focus in the area of Audit, Review and Payment preparation of insurance carrier invoices as well as payroll deduction auditing and analysis. While her career in auditing/billing began over 17 years ago, Gina has been with the Baker Tilly Vantagen Team since 2005.

Tricia Pegula

Communications Manager



Tricia has spent over 20 years working in the Communications & Advertising field. She is dialed into the art of strategically communicating in ways that make a difference. While managing our Communications Department, she also serves our many clients and their vendors to effectively communicate their benefit-related needs. Tricia has been a part of the Baker Tilly Vantagen team since 2022.
